  • 1. To take part in the cocktail competition known as World Class you need to be at least 24 years old, working as a bartender and be a resident of Israel.  Proof of age may be required. 

  •  

  • 2. To enter World Class you need to complete the entry form on the World Class Club website. You must submit your entry between 5th of December 2018 - 1st of January 2019.

  •  

  • 3. When you submit your entry drink to World Class you must: (1) use the appropriate Diageo Reserve brand spirit (as detailed on the World Class entry form); (2) include full details of your cocktail recipe; and (3) include details of how you would promote your World Class entry. The promotion can be through menus in your bar, Social media, event in your bar etc. Your own creativity is the limit.

  • 4.  Any cocktail recipes which are submitted for World Class must contain a minimum of 30 ml of a RESERVE BRAND product and total combined alcoholic ingredients must be equivalent to no more than 90 ml at 40 % alc. /vol.

  •  

  • 5. which you work where you will make them your World Class entry drink.  You must also be prepared to answer questions on your World Class entry and how you are promoting your drink. The in bar scoring will be judged 70% on the taste of the cocktail and 30% on the bar visit and your promotional plansthe outletYou must be available to have a Diageo member of staff or representative of Diageo visit you at . .

  • 6.  Each country will have one bartender to go through to the Global World Class Final 

  •  

  • 7.  Prior the Global World Class Final a Western European boot camp will take place to inspire and prepare the 15 Western European winners. This will happen in the beginning of June – after the country finals.

  • 8. Diageo reserves the right to change the dates or venues of any part of the World Class programme.  We will make all reasonable efforts to keep you informed if this happens.

  •  

  • 9. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

  •  

  • 10. The promoter reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of technical or other difficulties that might comprise its integrity.

  • By taking part in World Class, you agree that Diageo has the right to publish any recipes you create for World Class, including cocktail name, image, description, ingredients and method. 

  •  

  • 11.   You agree that any cocktails which you make during World Class are your own creation and not copied from any other source and contain no copyright or intellectual property from any third party.

  •  

  • 12.  By taking part in World Class, you are agreeing to participate in any publicity associated with World Class. Any copyright in photographs, images or film that contain you in connection with World Class belong to us and can be used in any media across the world, without restriction.
